Easy Tips for Keeping Your House Clean
Keeping your house clean doesn’t have to be a dreadful once-a-week all-day activity. Cleaning your whole house in one day can be exhausting and stressful, so I suggest having a weekly cleaning schedule.
Cleaning your apartment or house throughout the week frees up your weekend and takes a full day’s workload off your shoulders.
– Make Your Bed
Your bed is the most noticeable feature in your bedroom and an unmade bed makes your whole room look messy.
Making your bed every day is an easy habit that will improve your life by offering a sense of accomplishment which increases your productivity for the day!

– Run Your Dishwasher At Night
Running your dishwasher at night allows you to put away your dishes first thing in the morning and put the dirty dishware you use throughout the day in the dishwasher instead of leaving them in the sink.
Letting your dishwasher run at night can be cheaper than running it during the day because your lights are usually turned off at night. Be sure your dishwasher automatically shuts off before you try this at night!

– Close Your Kitchen
Turn off all appliances, and make sure that all leftover food is in the refrigerator. Additionally, take the time to sweep and mop the floors and wipe down all surfaces to ensure a clean kitchen space in the morning.
By investing a few moments to close your kitchen each night, you will give yourself the peace of mind that your kitchen is safe and ready to be used again the next day.

– 15 Minute Cleaning Intervals
If you can’t clean up after your kids in 15 minutes, you more than likely have too many options for your children to play with (and to clean up after)
Pick up all of the toys and put them where they belong, tidy up your couches, and do anything else you feel like doing in those 15 minutes.
Doing this a few times a day will make a huge difference!

– Empty The Trash
The key to a clean and organized home is to empty the trash regularly. Not only does this help keep the house smelling fresh, but it also reduces the risk of pests and other bugs.
Making sure to empty the trash regularly will also reduce the amount of clutter that accumulates in the home, keeping it looking neat and tidy.
To be environmentally friendly, you can also create a recycling station in your home, allowing you to easily separate materials for recycling and disposal. Doing this will help to further reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills and can even be a great way to save money.
